‘My father worked with a horse plough, His shoulders globed like a full sail strung between the shafts and the furrow. The horse strained at his clicking tongue.’ Extract from ‘Follower’ Seamus Heaney 1966

A temporary site specific project for my MA in Fine Art 2006/7 in homage to the working horse in farming communities based on the oral memories of local residents in Ide near Exeter. With acknowledgement to Andy Bragg of Westown Farm, Organic Arts and the University of Plymouth.
